IMPACT - Beyond entertainment, Kéla lives to impact those around her positively and educate as well… a great example of this was her partnership with Chase Bank & Essence for Currency Conversations: an initiative to gather the community to build financial knowledge and support each other's progress.
WELLNESS - She believes in working hard & playing hard, and finding a balance between the two; including finding time for luxuriating self-care and making time for wellness in deeper & more expansive ways, like her Slay For Life fitness initiative with Tory Sport and IMARA Retreat. In 2019, she hosted & participated in a week-long immersive and transformational wellness & travel journey with other amazing women from The Colored Girl Tribe. And she’ll be back again in 2021 to join us in Zanzibar!
EXPANSION - Kela’s growth game is strong! She started off producing original content for a local New York City network & created the fashion website Kela's Kloset and has since gone on to start her won media company. Her writing has also been seen in InStyle Magazine, Essence, and Time Out New York.

COLLABORATION - Kela readily collaborates with other amazing women on initiatives that educate and empower.
