Artists We Love: Dominique Sierra

Dominique Sierra and is a Visual Artist originally from Decatur, GA, specializing in portrait drawings using charcoal and acrylic, watercolor, and oil paint mediums. Although she's been selling her artwork for a few years, she decided to officially launch Art x Dominique Sierra in February 2019. This decision came about as she started thinking about her footprint on this world. The idea of having her pieces in many homes and museums now & leaving a legacy and after she’s gone has become something she’s started thinking about more and more. This continues to keep her motivated & she enjoys drawing and painting different types of images. But her passion is capturing people. Every time she comes across a stranger, she studies their face to imagine how to capture the light and contrast. She believes everyone expresses their art and themselves based on their background, experience, feelings & perspective.
