President Obama blasted Trump during his DNC speech recently, and rightly so. Seems he feels the former reality tv star is better suited for TV than office, and we second that. Sigh: We are so over #45, and can you blame us??? Not only is he not for (our) people, but the amount of debauchery, shenanigans, and rule-bending (to say the least) that has ensued since that guy got elected, is enough to make our heads spin!

Here’s what our Obama had to say in his speech:

“He’s shown no interest in putting in the work,” Obama said “no interest in finding common ground; no interest in using the awesome power of his office to help anyone but himself and his friends.”
Obama focused on Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, describing the U.S.’s current situation as a “severe” consequence of the president’s inability to grow into his job.
“170,000 Americans dead,” Obama said, “Millions of jobs gone. Our worst impulses unleashed, our proud reputation around the world badly diminished, and our democratic institutions threatened like never before.” -Source, FORBES

Now, what we are excited for, is this new energy on the herstory making Biden/Harris Ticket, #FTW! Obama is as well and he sang their praises during his speech and drove home the point of contrast between them and Trump.

Biden was smart to choose Harris as his running mate and it’s about time a woman of color got elected into to the White House. When they win (see what we did there?), Harris will be the first African American & Asian American WOMAN Vice President. A Colored Girl, in office - We love it!

In the meantime, although we miss the Obamas, we are looking forward to great change, and are sure to keep out eyes open, ears to the ground and VOTER registrations current. We hope you are too! In the meantime, let’s all collectively woosah and stay vigilant as the elections approach. We urge you to please make sure you VOTE!!!!!
