HFR In The Black Wants to Support Our Community...

Our heart goes out to all who have been impacted by COVID-19 and to those fighting on the frontlines.

HFR wants to do what we can to support multicultural designers and those in need. We are starting the month by dedicating our first digest to sharing resources by and for designers of color impacted by this situation.

We will get through this, together! Shop below:

  • Taylor Jay, based in Oakland has started a campaign titled "Get & Give" - For every mask sold one will be donated to a healthcare provider, a senior, or a person in need.

  • Shon Simon, based in Los Angeles, CA is offering your first mask for free and providing options for wholesale.

  • Sonson, based in the Bay area is offering masks you can purchase to donate or for personal use.

  • Six/20, based in NYC is offering super fashionable masks with clever statements.

  • Kynsho, based in Brooklyn is offering stylish pleated and curved masks.

Lastly, if you have the means, now would be a great time to support designers of color. Our next designer digest will feature amazing pieces you should wear to your first post quarantine event!

Founded in 2007 by Brandice Daniel, the organization supports emerging talent and provides a platform for underrepresented African American and Latino designers.
